Theodore P. Stank is the John H. Dove professor of logistics at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. His research focuses on the strategic implications and performance benefits associated with best-practice logistics and supply chain management concepts. Dr. Stank is a co-author of 21st Century Logistics: Making Supply Chain Integration a Reality. (This paper reports the results of work developed by the CTM Committee of VICS.)
